To succeed in this role, a robust understanding of commercial cards, non-card-based payments, or related B2B sectors is essential. The candidate should exhibit high proficiency in strategic, solution-based selling to executive decision-makers while demonstrating a passion for fostering relationships across various internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Set joint objectives that support performance targets for the function aligned with the strategic business/go-to-market plan established in collaboration with the Head of Commercial, GCC.
- Drive new purchase volume and revenue for the company Commercial Solutions with commercial issuers (both Financial Institutions and Non-Financial Institutions). Assess and define business opportunities to enhance volume and market share, executing both short and long-term strategies to boost profitability, collaborating with Client Relationship Management teams and cross-functional groups within the company.
- Build and implement the go-to-market strategy and execution of key partnerships targeting SMEs and Large Market clients.
- Design and deliver comprehensive business cases for new payment, technology, and vertical initiatives across Healthcare, Real Estate, and Government sectors, engaging players in FinTech, the company Government Solutions, and acceptance value chains to establish new partnerships and maintain the company’s competitive edge.
- Collaborate with the company Commercial Solutions Hub team on new products, market campaigns, and drive value-added services solutions and revenues.
- Facilitate the successful rollout of the company’s digital payment solutions and B2B platform partnership programs to enhance market share and accelerate volume growth.
- Actively engage with clients to identify their needs, improve their solution value propositions, and secure targeted opportunities in the public and private sectors. Contribute to the quarterly business/account plan for assigned clients, coordinating with matrixed stakeholders on required actions and deliverables alongside Client Relationship Management teams.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products and services, with in-depth knowledge in commercial solutions and familiarity with consumer loyalty, merchant acceptance, e-commerce, and digital.
- Utilize the company assets and product management resources effectively to provide exceptional value to business, issuers, and acquirers.
- Collaborate on and drive relevant industry events and sponsorships alongside clients and partners.
The company requires at least three days in the office, with expectations to be confirmed by the Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
- 8 to 12 years of business experience, including sales and/or relationship management.
- Preferred experience in Commercial Cards Issuing/Acquiring, with a necessary background in servicing Financial Institution clients in these areas. A solid understanding of Transaction Banking (covering SME/Corporate/Public Sector) is required.
- Proven track record of implementing strategic initiatives, policies, and operational decisions.

- Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with an ability to lead by influence and example.
- Proven capacity to partner, communicate effectively, and navigate across multiple disciplines and organizational groups.
- Ability to operate within a complex, often ambiguous environment and influence senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Executive presence with strong written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to large groups.
- Demonstrated ability to understand financial indicators to assess business performance and to concisely summarize business and financial data for planning and decision-making.
