Senior Network Administrator

About
We are currently looking for a Senior Network Administrator for our Qatar operations.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required.
• 5 to 10 years or more of experience in networking.
• NAC and Firewall exposure are required; candidates should be proficient with Avanti Pulse Secure or Aruba Clear Pass.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certifications are required.
• Certifications like CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ are valuable for foundational knowledge.
• Security-focused certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are highly regarded.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and architectures is essential.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices and firewalls is required.
• Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and VPN technologies.
• Knowledge of network security best practices, including threat detection and mitigation.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
• Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership and team collaboration skills, as senior roles often involve mentoring junior staff and leading projects.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in network security and technology.
• An understanding of ethical hacking and an appreciation for the ethical and legal considerations of cybersecurity.
