Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, incorporating all tasks, milestones, and deliverables to ensure accurate representation of timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements, establish priorities, and define project scope.
- Monitor project progress against established schedules, identifying deviations, delays, and potential risks, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates on schedule performance, resource utilization, and potential impacts on outcomes.
- Analyze project data and performance metrics to identify trends, recommend improvements, and adjust schedules and resource allocation as needed.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources for project execution.
- Prepare and distribute reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing project schedules, progress, and performance indicators for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior planning engineers and project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence in scheduling and management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in project management and scheduling to inform continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards in all aspects of project scheduling and management.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in accordance with company and IMS policies.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
- Understanding of planning principles and practices, including research and data collection.
- Familiarity with planning software such as Advanced Primavera 6.
- Awareness of local and international construction standards.
- ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, is essential for success in this role.
Job Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of working experience, with at least 5 years of relevant experience and 2 years in the GCC being a plus.

Education
- Professional degree with MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA)
