Job Responsibilities
- Utilize all economies of scale and best practices to win local battles.
- Define and communicate the supply strategy and its implications to inform and align respective stakeholders.
- Interact on an executive/managerial level within and outside the business to ensure cross alignment in the spirit of long-term partnership.
- Lead the delivery of the savings and operating cash flow program in relevant Categories, Cluster, and/or Business Unit.
- Make timely decisions while balancing analysis with decisiveness.
- Develop and leverage competitive insights to shape strategies that counter competitive threats.
- Maintain all external networks and continuously build alliances to enhance the Business’s competitive advantage.
- Remove organizational barriers to deliver exceptional internal and/or external customer service.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.
- Manage and optimize the financial and budgetary requirements as necessary.
- Identify metrics, tools, and processes to optimize sourcing, supplier activities, and efficiencies.
- Evaluate challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement, work simplification, and elimination of non-value-added work.
- Drive operational excellence in strategic sourcing.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced expertise in procurement processes, including strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong leadership abilities to mentor, motivate, and manage procurement teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Exceptional analytical skills to assess market trends, conduct cost analysis, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Extensive experience in managing complex procurement projects, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with stakeholders, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships with suppliers.
- ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, is a requirement for success in this role.
Job Experience
- Minimum of 8 years working experience, including 5 years in a relevant supervisory position.
- 2 years of GCC experience is a plus.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics related field or Business Administration.
