The company is looking for an exceptionally talented Senior Project Manager to join our team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. In this on-site, full-time role, you will be responsible for the scope development, scope management, and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Prepare correspondence, written reports, and presentations for the Government, briefing tenants and senior personnel.
- Schedule and coordinate project interactions among existing and occupied facilities.
- Manage interdisciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories.
- Integrate competing and conflicting elements into planning and execution processes for smooth project requirements flow.
- Familiarity with Federal and Local Government office building projects, including procedural, review, and approval requirements.
- Mobilize company resources to create project teams capable of delivering effective, quality work.
- Act as the company representative with clients and selected subcontractors during program execution.
- Negotiate scope changes with clients and key subcontractors, and market additional work with clients.
- Oversee establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other necessary documents.
- Monitor project deliverables for adherence to established program requirements.
- Collaborate with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans.
- Advise the client and company management of changes to project scope and maintain timely change orders.
- Promote technical and commercial excellence through the application of Quality Assurance processes.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related technical/business field.
- 15+ years of engineering management experience on large-scale programs.
- Broad general technical and business background.
- Ability to manage projects, interface with clients, and be hands-on technically in the project.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and ability to meet the company's project management certification requirements.
- Proven management capability with excellent written and oral communication skills.
