Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary engineering projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards (HSE) in all project activities.
  • Develop effective stakeholder engagement strategies to manage relationships and expectations.
  • Identify, assess, and manage technical and commercial risks associated with oil and gas project development.
  • Oversee project cost, schedule, and resource management to ensure successful delivery within budget and timeframe.
  • Implement effective interfaces management strategies to ensure seamless communication between teams.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
  • Foster a workplace culture that emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and respect.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven leadership in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technical and commercial risks in project development.
  • Expertise in managing project cost, schedule, and resourcing effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of In-Country-Value requirements.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage project resources efficiently.

Experience

  • Over 10 years of engineering and project management experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years specifically in the oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical sectors.
  • Evidence of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
