The Senior Project Manager will provide direction and management for medium and large-size projects during all phases, or several small projects, and will be responsible for the implementation, planning, programming, coordination, scope development, and overall implementation of the project to meet project goals and objectives, contract terms, and stakeholder requirements. Familiarity with the integration of engineering-technical aspects, as well as procurement and construction activities, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as lead Project Manager coordinating and managing assigned infrastructure and facilities projects.
- Interface with Master Planning team, Engineering, Procurement, F&B, Utility Company, and other stakeholders to define project requirements.
- Lead the development of RFPs, tender bidding, and awards, managing the Pre-Award RFP process and stakeholder relations.
- Establish and oversee Project Execution Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans.
- Assign responsibilities and provide input for performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.
- Develop budgets, schedules, and plans for various project elements, ensuring adherence to established goals.
- Address potential conflicts, coordination issues, and significant scope changes in collaboration with project teams.
- Promote technical and commercial excellence through Quality Assurance processes and monitor project progress.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a Western University.
- 15 years of related engineering, procurement, and construction experience is required.
- Strong technical and business knowledge with prior project management experience on similar projects.
- Professional registration like PMP is a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills are required.
- In-depth knowledge of industry practices and regulations and current technology application on projects.
