The Senior R&D Manager is responsible for overseeing the full Research and Development (R&D) department, with a focus on product and process innovation in dairy and related food products. This role includes supporting the development and optimization of product formulations, processing techniques, and raw material specifications while driving the successful execution of new product development (NPD) projects and product reformulations.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all R&D activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and departmental objectives.
- Support the development of the product innovation strategy, focusing on new categories and enhancements to existing product lines.
- Lead the execution of R&D projects, including new product launches, reformulations, and process optimizations.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept generation to product launch.
- Reformulate existing products to meet changing consumer preferences and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct research and development activities to improve product quality, taste, and shelf life.
- Develop and optimize product formulations and processing techniques.
- Ensure products meet all internal and external quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical guidance to the team and foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of food science principles, food processing techniques, and quality control.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and food safety standards.
- Strong technical expertise in food product development, particularly dairy and related products.
- Proven track record in successful product launches and process optimizations.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards for food products.
- ERP knowledge, preferably with SAP.
Job Experience
- Minimum 8 years of working experience, with at least 5 years relevant experience.
- 2 years of experience in the GCC region is a plus.

Education
