Job Description:
As a Strategy and Performance Expert, you will be responsible for the development, execution, and monitoring of the company's/project’s annual business and operational plans. Your key tasks will include:
- Identifying opportunities and strategic issues impacting the projects' short and long-term goals.
- Evaluating opportunities, developing business cases, conducting market research and analyses, cost-benefit analyses, and financial modeling.
- Keeping abreast of transportation and mobility developments worldwide to identify future trends that may impact corporate strategy.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of strategic corporate initiatives.
- Preparing Senior Management presentations.
- Establishing and maintaining a consistent performance reporting framework and monitoring organizational performance against approved targets.
- Conducting performance reviews and root-cause analyses and overseeing the implementation of corrective actions to drive corporate performance improvement.
- Preparing regular performance reports for the company’s leadership.
- Conducting ad hoc analyses and preparing output presentations as required.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 2 years in management consulting or 5 years in a strategy/corporate planning function in a leading organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare high-quality Senior Management level presentations.
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills in English.
Desired Skills:
- Preferred experience in the Transport and/or Rail sector or in the local Qatari market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong decision-making ability and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Team player mentality, flexibility, and attention to detail.
- High level of motivation, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is essential.
