Your key responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand key business drivers and co-develop approaches that evaluate value measurements.
- Provide critical insights, factual conclusions, and advice to enhance client value.
- Support clients in defining their strategic objectives through strategic analysis and transaction execution.
- Plan, prepare and review deliverables such as Excel data books, written reports, presentations, and client discussions.
- Identify opportunities to sell additional services based on client needs and firm's capabilities.
Skills and attributes for success
We seek experienced professionals from Strategy and Transactions with relevant expertise in the Financial Services Sector (Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or business with 7-12 years of related business valuation experience.
- Expertise in valuation methodologies, market assessments, feasibility planning, and financial analyses.
- Strong financial modelling skills, with experience building models from scratch.
- Deep understanding of financial services institutions' balance sheets and operating models.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards pertaining to fair value measurements and business combinations.
Ideally, you’ll also
- Possess previous valuation experience in professional services or a Big 4 Firm.
- Be on track towards attaining a CFA designation.
- Have strong Business Development skills.
