Transformation Manager

About the role:
An exciting opportunity for the position of Transformation Manager is available within the company. This hands-on role is integral to shaping and delivering the next phase of the company’s Strategy & Transformation journey across key areas such as Customer Experience, Operations, Digital & AI. Reporting to a Transformation Business Partner, the Transformation Manager will support the discovery, shaping, and execution of transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organizational roadmap and future vision.
The role involves identifying and assessing improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and sustainable business growth. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to co-create change initiatives, translating agreed-upon priorities into structured, executable project plans. This position will require strong project management skills and collaboration with various internal teams, including Partner Synergies, EPMO, Process Excellence, Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA), and the Business Finance teams.
Utilizing disciplined transformative methodologies, the role will support data-driven decision-making and contribute to measurable benefits. A significant expectation is to effectively apply change management practices that drive adoption and ensure improvements are sustained by the business. Process Excellence and innovation capabilities, such as lean six sigma, process mining, and Digital & AI solutions, will also be leveraged in collaboration with Information Technology and different stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to delivering the transformation roadmap for assigned divisions and departments, under the direction of the Transformation Business Partner.
• Conduct ‘As-Is’ analyses to identify gaps and opportunities, supporting the development of ‘To-Be’ blueprints and business cases.
• Co-create transformation initiatives with business stakeholders through cross-functional workshops to align on problem definition, scope, and solutions.
• Plan and manage assigned transformation projects end-to-end, including scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, resources, risks, and issues.
• Monitor implementation progress with the EPMO, prepare status reports, and support issue resolution, escalating material risks to the Transformation Business Partner.
• Track KPIs and benefits with Business Finance and EDA, promoting data analytics adoption to support informed decision-making.
• Apply change management practices, including stakeholder analysis, communication, training, and adoption tracking, to ensure new ways of working are embraced.
• Support business stakeholders in transitioning from project mode to business-as-usual by embedding improved processes into SOPs with clear operational ownership.
• Apply the company transformation playbook and standards.
• Operate within clear boundaries: Strategy sets direction, Transformation orchestrates delivery and value assurance, and business leaders remain accountable for outcomes.

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in business transformation, innovation, or operational strategy within large multinational organizations.
• Experience in business transformation consulting (preferred) or internal transformation advisory, with structured problem-solving expertise in asset-intensive and operationally complex industries.
• Commercial airline experience (preferred), ideally in Customer Experience, Operations, Digital & AI.
• High-level project management experience, with a proven track record of planning and delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget; PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Change management experience preferred, with a focus on stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption; Prosci, APMG, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in defining, tracking, and benchmarking performance indicators, measuring success, and refining initiatives based on lessons learned.
• Excellent command of English, with strong communication and presentation skills capable of engaging management level stakeholders and influencing without direct authority.
• Stakeholder management experience in complex, international, or culturally diverse organizations.
