Position

The Vice President, Professional Service Delivery Middle East and Africa will lead the implementation of projects for OpenText software solutions in the Middle East and Africa. Reporting to the SVP of Professional Services and serving as an integral member of the senior leadership team, this Vice President will manage projects, develop project management policies, manage customer escalations, integrate into the sales bid process, and perform revenue and margin forecasting. This position will be front-facing with customers for projects being implemented with OpenText resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of revenue and margin targets in the Middle East and Africa.
  • Provide strategic vision and implementation for the project management of professional services projects.
  • Manage a team of Project Managers working on customer projects.
  • Primary connection for practice leadership on staffing and delivering projects in the region.
  • Manage customer escalations on projects.
  • Forecast and take responsibility for revenue generation.
  • Manage external consultants for project management.
  • Ensure bid review and cost estimates for programs.

Ideal Experience

  • Experience with and passion for delivering complex software professional services.
  • PMP certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully plan, implement, and deliver software solutions to Fortune 500 companies.
  • Experience managing complex requirements and customers.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with distributed teams.
  • 10+ years of managing global and remote teams for professional services on enterprise software solutions.
  • Requirements negotiation skills.
