Role and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical lead, approving design deliverables and reviewing project documents for safety and quality.
  • Anticipate and solve crucial issues, serving as a specialist in advanced concepts and methods.
  • Act as design authority for engineering disciplines, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate on project installation, commissioning, and site activities while providing technical support.
  • Engage with customers to drive solution delivery and improvements based on feedback.
  • Participate in project meetings to resolve technical issues and meet contractual obligations.
  • Prepare proposals/presentations for engineering projects and conduct Project Peer-Reviews.
  • Contribute to workshops on engineering design, tools, and processes.
  • Coach engineering colleagues on translating designs into documentation and best practices.

Qualifications for the Role:

  • Engineering Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in networking and cyber security systems, particularly within oil and gas sectors.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing Operational Technology (OT) network solutions for control systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices specific to OT environments.
  • Familiarity with OT-specific cybersecurity standards such as ISA/IEC 62443 and hands-on experience with industrial network devices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are preferred.
