Integration Developer

To develop and ensure that all back-end systems of the digital product are integrated successfully.

Key Accountabilities:

• Utilize Agile engineering practices and various software and mobile development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance client, customer, and employee experience.
• Collaborate with a team to craft clear user stories, design tests for prototypes and products, and continuously deliver product enhancements.
• Liaise with other teams within and outside the Digital unit to negotiate timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, and team members to identify and address product and delivery risks.
• Promote and exemplify best practice engineering processes and Agile behavior among team members.
• Communicate with business stakeholders about Agile processes to set and manage expectations regarding delivery methods and timelines.
• Own and drive best practices in automation, including continuous integration and deployment.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required:

• A strong passion for development and a demonstrated appetite for continual learning.
• Knowledge of pair programming, continuous integration, and test-driven development.
• Familiarity with Functional Programming concepts and Microservices is a plus.
• Contributions to the community through open source work, GitHub, StackOverflow, or publishing/speaking on technical ideas are advantageous.
• Should act as a change agent, challenging the status quo.

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in English.

Experience:

• 3-6 years of experience in Java, with knowledge of Spring, J2EE, and Hibernate.
