About the Job: Support IT project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. Assist project managers and teams by tracking progress, preparing reports, and maintaining project documentation.
Scope of Work:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating IT projects, ensuring smooth execution.
- Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, identifying potential risks or delays.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including reports, schedules, meeting minutes, and status updates.
- Support IT project managers in resource allocation, scheduling, and budget tracking.
- Facilitate communication between teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project alignment.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, workshops, and follow-ups, ensuring key action points are documented and addressed.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing project data and reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and IT best practices.
- Help resolve minor project-related issues and escalate critical concerns to project managers.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in IT project coordination, project management, or related roles.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of IT project management principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project, etc.).
- Familiarity with IT concepts, software development processes, and infrastructure.
- Preferred: Certification in Project Management (CAPM, PMP Associate, PRINCE2 Foundation) is a plus, Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies, Experience with collaboration tools like Confluence, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.
