Senior Engineer (Systems Engineering)

EDGE Group PJSC is seeking a Senior Engineer in Systems Engineering to take overall technical authority and responsibility for the technical performance of a product system or system-element throughout its life cycle. The role involves performing technical processes such as mission analysis, requirements definition, architectural definition, verification, and validation.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Contract

Key Accountabilities:

• Take overall technical authority for product systems or system-elements.
• Perform mission analysis and requirements definition.
• Execute technical management processes including planning, risk management, and configuration management.
• Generate systems engineering outputs such as User Requirements Specifications and Development Specifications.
• Prepare System Engineering Management Plans and Test and Evaluation Master Plans.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure alignment of design with requirements.
• Manage interface control between system-elements for successful integration.
• Support verification and validation activities and coordinate integration of specialty engineering.
• Implement Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) and generate relevant project documentation.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 to 12 years relevant experience, or
  Master's degree in Engineering with 7 to 10 years relevant experience, or
  Doctorate in Engineering with 6 to 9 years relevant experience.
• Experience in systems engineering within the defense industry is essential.
• Familiarity with military standards and specifications is preferred.
• Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification from the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) is beneficial.
• Experience in the UAE or Middle East is a plus.
