As an IT Architect, you will be responsible for providing a smoothly functioning integration of all IT/OT components necessary to automate our business processes. You will engage with a dynamic and highly motivated team while working with an international customer base.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Oversee the technical management of IT/OT aspects for integration solutions in international projects.
- Accompany projects remotely and on-site throughout all project life cycle phases, from the preparation of offers to implementation, handover, and subsequent support phases.
- Develop and design IT/OT architectures aligned with high availability, redundancy, and security standards.
- Adapt concepts to meet customer requirements and find optimal integration solutions.
- Coordinate IT/OT aspects for internal and external stakeholders in the project.
- Create specifications and requirements to track supplier progress.
- Present and adapt solution proposals in collaboration with international customer IT departments.
- Regularly monitor and report progress to management in a structured manner.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical university degree or comparable training in the ICT area.
- Several years of experience in planning medium to large IT/OT integration projects, especially in automated intralogistics or production systems.
- Experience in requirements analysis for IT/OT systems managing automation components, as well as physical and virtual server, network, and security infrastructures.
- Familiarity with SLAs and designing highly available IT environments (ITIL v4).
- Strong team player capable of independent collaboration with international and global virtual teams.
- High analytical skills with a structured, solution-oriented approach and the ability to persuade through coherent arguments.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
