As the Director of Engineering, you will lead and scale our engineering organization to deliver state-of-the-art AI solutions. You will be responsible for driving the technical execution of our applied research, shaping engineering strategy, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple product teams. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a world-class engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Partner closely with research, product, and design teams to deliver intelligent, scalable, and reliable AI-powered solutions.
- Translate advanced research into production-grade systems and services.
- Define and execute engineering strategy and architecture in alignment with company goals.
- Oversee project timelines, technical roadmaps, and delivery milestones.
- Champion best practices in software engineering, including testing, performance, and security.
- Ensure high standards in code quality, system reliability, and platform scalability.
- Collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders to integrate cutting-edge AI into real-world use cases.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing high-performing technical teams.
- Proven experience in building and scaling complex software systems, preferably involving AI/ML technologies.
- Strong technical background in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or large-scale data processing.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and applied AI is a plus.
- Track record of successfully shipping products from concept to production.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
