AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In the Data Center Security Manager role, you will manage day-to-day security operations at the data center, execute security projects, and ensure compliance with AWS policies. This role is essential in ensuring the cloud runs smoothly by supporting AWS data centers and maintaining high safety and security standards while providing optimal capacity for our customers. You will be part of a diverse team that includes software, hardware, and network engineers, security experts, and operations managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the contract guard force for daily data center operations.
- Address security incidents, escalations, and other security-related issues.
- Provide after-hours on-call management support and participate in large-scale event responses as needed.
- Participate in security audits and reviews for the data center.
- Execute compliance processes with AWS policies, standards, and legal requirements.
- Develop and provide input on security methodologies, policies, and procedures.
- Write reports and communicate the status of physical security operations to management.
- Oversee new security construction or retrofit projects.
- Manage the security budget for assigned sites and assist management with financial analysis related to security requirements.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the protection of AWS Data Center personnel, information, and assets.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in security.
- At least 4 years of experience in physical security management.
- Saudi Nationals only for this position.

- Membership in a security professional body.
- Relevant security qualifications or proof of ongoing professional development.
