Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Solution Architect to work with Enterprise customers and other AWS teams to create cloud-based solutions in Saudi Arabia. The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team is responsible for driving revenue and growth, while the AWS Global Support team engages with leading companies, recognizing that world-class support is crucial for customer success.
In this role, you will be tasked with crafting scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. As a trusted customer advocate, you will have the opportunity to shape and execute strategies that focus on the broad use of AWS, connecting technology with measurable business value. This position requires strong customer-facing skills, enabling you to represent Amazon effectively and engage with senior personnel, along with a technical background that facilitates interactions with software developers and architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute technical strategies alongside sales and business development to foster deep relationships with Enterprise customers.
- Partner with customers and various AWS teams to design cloud architectures that solve business challenges and promote AWS adoption.
- Educate clients about AWS value propositions, leading detailed architectural discussions to ensure cloud readiness of solutions.
- Capture and share best practices within the AWS solutions architect community, contributing to customer-facing publications and resources.

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
- 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of IT development or consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in software development or Internet-related industries.
- Familiarity with migrating legacy solutions to the cloud.
- Experience with AWS technologies from a development/operations perspective.
