Position

About the Job:
As an IT Support Associate, you will support the operations team in resolving technical problems within Amazon operations facilities across a defined geographical area, engaging in a variety of technical disciplines. You will be encouraged to participate in career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment used in Amazon operations facilities.
  • Manage support requests and procedures across the network.
  • Assist in training new hires.
  • Engage in continuous learning of new technologies.
  • Support customers from multiple buildings, as well as remote customers.
  • Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
  • Travel within your local or regional area to provide support.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of support experience in a corporate setting with Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
  • Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry-relevant certifications.
  • Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
