About the job:
The IT Compliance / Strategy Lead leads the strategic direction, development, planning, and execution of IT strategy, fostering ethics and culture, ensuring compliance, and driving organizational success through effective management of IT resources and activities. The role is responsible for developing and implementing the IT governance framework, including data governance and overall IT enterprise architecture, and driving continuous improvements. This position ensures that the IT governance, risk, and compliance strategy and framework support the strategic objectives of AD and meet audit, legal, and risk mandates. Responsibilities include overseeing IT Risk Management processes, IT financial & contract management processes, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and collaborating closely with other key roles within the organization to ensure alignment with overall technology innovation and cybersecurity implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate the technical vision and strategy for the ADC platform(s), staying informed of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation.
- Enterprise Platform Architecture: Define and evolve enterprise platform architectures, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
- Enterprise Platform Governance: Define and enforce platform governance policies, standards, and guidelines while ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to IT architecture principles and best practices.
- IT Governance Framework: Develop and oversee the IT governance framework, including defining objectives, governance principles, policies, roles, responsibilities, and processes.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Oversee IT risk management and compliance processes to identify, assess, and manage risks in accordance with AD requirements.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvements: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization, exploring new technologies and solutions.
- IT Financial Management & Contracting: Manage IT budgeting, cost control, financial planning, vendor relationships, contracts, and financial reporting.
- Enterprise Architecture: Lead the design and maintenance of the IT architecture to align with business objectives and support scalable growth.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, data science, information systems, or a related discipline, typically required. At least 10 years of experience in data management, including data governance, data quality, data integration, and data architecture with 4-5 years of proven experience in developing and executing data strategies aligned with business goals. Experience in defining data roadmaps, setting data-related goals, and establishing data governance structures.
