As a Senior Product Designer, your role is crucial in driving design solutions that address complex problems with a user-centered focus. You will influence and shape the direction of our products across various platforms. Your advanced understanding of design principles, along with your ability to mentor and elevate other team members, makes you an essential part of our mission to deliver unparalleled digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex design projects from concept development to execution across various platforms.
- Conduct in-depth user research and usability studies to guide design decisions and propose innovative solutions.
- Communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders, facilitating productive design reviews.
- Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Drive the expansion and evolution of the current design system, addressing new and unforeseen use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrating user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives into the design process.
- Advocate for user-centered design across all projects.
Requirements:
- A degree in Design, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, including designing and launching consumer-facing digital products.
- Deep understanding of typography, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
- Extensive knowledge of design systems and their evolution to cater to diverse use cases.
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and their application in design.
- Expertise in design software (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.) and prototyping tools.
- Excellent understanding of UI/UX principles and design thinking methodology.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong mentorship and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to foster collaboration.
- Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and self-directed approach to work, with leadership responsibilities.
