About the Job
As an IT Support Engineer at Bybit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT desktop services in the Dubai office. This includes employee onboarding and offboarding tasks, supporting all-hands meetings and events, and providing remote IT assistance in similar time zones. You will also be tasked with desktop operations, maintaining, troubleshooting, and securing local office IT systems which involve managing Lark Rooms, projectors, and audio/video systems.
Your role will include ensuring and optimizing the office network by maintaining server room facilities, such as servers, firewalls, switches, and access points. You will be the point of communication between global IT teams, helping implement IT policies and establish systems as needed.
In addition, you will manage local IT vendors, oversee project monitoring for office renovations and expansions, conduct monthly preventative maintenance, and procure local IT hardware while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Collaboration with the global finance team during stock-take tasks will also be part of your responsibilities.
As an ambassador for the IT team, you will promote effective communication, professionalism, and efficiency in all tasks. Your goal will be to achieve IT helpdesk targets while working swiftly and effectively with the global IT team to resolve issues and incidents. Other IT-related tasks may be assigned as needed by the team leader.
Skills & Competencies
- Degree in Information Technology or an equivalent field.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT operations and Level 1/Level 2 end-user support or related fields preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MacBook OS and Google Workspace.
- Experience supporting VIP users.
- Ability to solve problems independently.
