About the Job
ByteDance is seeking a Data Analyst for its Workplace Service-Information System team based in Dubai. The team focuses on internal system construction, catering to human resources, workplace service, finance, legal affairs, procurement, approval processes, and other internal systems to enhance operational efficiency.
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for setting up business indicator systems for the Corporate Services team, which includes Real Estate, Physical Security, and Administration. Your role will involve analyzing long-term trends and short-term anomalies to provide valuable suggestions through insightful reports. You will build dashboards and establish a daily tracker to promptly identify relevant trends or potential blockers.
Additionally, you will conduct various data analyses based on business needs, using both qualitative and quantitative methods to identify internal problems or discover new opportunities. Maintaining smooth and effective communication with internal stakeholders, such as the Business Operation team, Data Warehouse team, Product team, R&D, and Algorithm teams, is essential to ensure the successful implementation and continuous optimization of data analysis reports. You will also focus on creating user-friendly data systems and products to support the business effectively.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in data analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong data mining, information collection, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business problems into data modeling.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and algorithms (e.g., machine learning, causal inference).
- Experience in data analysis within the internet or technology-related industries.
- Excellent learning ability, with a capacity to quickly assimilate new knowledge.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit, with the capability to lead small project teams in support of business objectives.
