About the Job

The Lark procurement R&D team, which is part of Lark Business Applications, supports ByteDance Group’s procurement services for over 100 business parties—such as e-commerce and games—through cutting-edge technology and AI applications aimed at improving efficiency and compliance while reducing costs. Our products include procurement mall, procurement center, supplier management, supplier portal, and outsourcing management.
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code developed by other developers to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, efficiency).
- Triage and resolve product or system issues by analyzing the sources of issues.
- Contribute to and adapt existing documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in software development in one or more programming languages, with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, with at least 1 year in software design and architecture.
- Strong curiosity and a willingness to learn new things.
- Proficiency in English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in world-class procurement system development.
- Experience integrating machine learning solutions within products and measuring effectiveness.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
