Position

We are excited to invite experienced Simulator Engineers to apply to join our team based in Abu Dhabi, overseeing a suite of Flight Simulation Training Devices (FFS). In this dynamic role, you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth, efficient, and top-quality operations at our training center. We seek candidates who are passionate about helping us achieve CAE’s goal of delivering world-class flight simulator training. By contributing to enhancing safety, efficiency, and readiness across all aspects of our training center operations, you will be part of CAE’s vision to be the global training partner of choice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all technical and operational aspects of the Flight Simulator Training Devices and Cabin Crew Training Devices.
  • Attend flight crew and maintenance calls, perform daily readiness checks, support flyouts, conduct scheduled preventative maintenance, and run Qualification Test Guides (QTGs).
  • Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex training device issues.
  • Pursue knowledge and skills to strive to become a technical expert in one or more simulator systems (e.g., Visual, Motion, Flight Controls).
  • Work with specialists on complex issues that require extensive testing, troubleshooting, research, and design.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards as aligned with CAE Management System policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Aviation Field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with flight simulators.
  • Excellent command of the English language: reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Strong customer orientation with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
  • Proficiency in technical areas related to hardware and software, as well as familiarity with flight simulator technical issues.
  • Effective knowledge of local and international regulations (e.g., EASA, UAE DGCA) pertaining to Flight Simulator Training Devices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
