About the Job
As a Service Engineer at Canon EMEA, you will be responsible for providing cost-effective maintenance and optimizing the technical performance of hardware products within the portfolio. This includes the maintenance and upgrading of firmware and product-related applications through remote technical support using Canon's remote assistance tools.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering first-line troubleshooting to determine the root cause of problems for most standalone and connected products in the portfolio.
  • Achieving a high first-time fix rate while minimizing recalls through effective use of labor time and parts.
  • Reporting visit-by-visit labor and parts investment using the CAESAR (Canon European Service Admin Coding) coding structure.
  • Optimizing car-stock inventory and balancing this against return to fit (RTF) visits.
  • Identifying commercial opportunities to support the sales and marketing teams.
  • Contributing to the development of the service team and overall performance.
  • Understanding customer requirements to align with the Solution Business Strategy.
  • Training identified super-users on Canon products and software as needed.

What We Ask

  • An Engineering Degree or Diploma in electronics, mechanics, or software.
  • Relevant experience in the service industry with a strong understanding of health and safety guidelines.
  • High technical aptitude with excellent fault-finding skills.
  • Strong customer handling and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, fostering a team-oriented environment.
  • Good commercial insight and business acumen.
  • A current KSA driving license is required, and you must be based in KSA (Riyadh or willing to relocate).
