Position

The System Engineer is responsible for servicing managed service customers, both onsite and remotely. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate proficiency in various hardware and software, expertise in network infrastructure technologies and IP network design, along with a strong understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems. The role requires the ability to adapt to different situations, identify issues independently, and work effectively in diverse environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent)
  • 5 or more years of experience in a related IT position (consulting experience is a plus)
  • Expertise in IT concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Windows 2003 and higher platform
  • Experience with Active Directory and Windows System Administration
  • Mandatory experience with print management solutions/Document Management Systems implementations
  • Experience with messaging and collaboration systems such as Exchange and SharePoint
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP)
  • Proficiency with Windows Virtualization (VMWare ESX and Hyper-V)
  • Familiarity with Storage Area Network subsystems
  • Specialized certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Network+) are essential
  • Strong experience with batch management, system upgrades, and backup/restore procedures
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication capabilities
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is preferred
