As a Cloud Professional Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the team's direction, focusing on delivery, and contributing technically when necessary. The ideal candidate should possess deep engineering expertise, with a commitment to developing management skills among engineers interested in soft skill training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of engineers ranging from graduates to seniors.
- Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback.
- Identify and measure team health indicators.
- Implement disciplined engineering processes.
- Represent the team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Collaborate as part of the leadership team on goals and projects.
What We Are Looking For:
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Practical experience with Linux and networking.
- Experience in technical presales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A track record of developing and mentoring engineers.
- Organized with the ability to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Exceptional academic background (preferably including university education).
- Willingness to travel up to 40% for internal events, external tech events, and customer meetings.
Additional Skills Considered a Plus:
- Proficiency in a second language (Spanish or French preferred).
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience collaborating with external partners and internal teams.
