Network Technician, Infrastructure Delivery

Canonical Dubai, United Arab Emirates Posted: 22 Jan 2025
Our mission is to build a next-generation private cloud infrastructure, combining KVM, Ceph, and SDN technologies to create a data center-scale cloud that 'just works' and supports mission-critical cloud deployments for both edge and core enterprise environments.
We are hiring a Golang software engineer to work on the low-level Go codebase that interfaces between our REST API and the low-level C libraries managing containers and virtual machines. We seek system-level developers who are adept in design and data management/modeling. The LXD components integrate throughout the software stack, from low-level kernel features to upper management API/CLI levels. The most effective engineers are fluent across these layers and can foresee the impacts of their design and engineering decisions in a complex distributed system.
This is an opportunity for individuals wanting to significantly impact modern cloud computing technologies. We offer a fun, fast-paced team environment with a focus on learning and professional development.
