About the Job:

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will engage in next-generation operations at scale, utilizing pure Python infrastructure-as-code, from bare metal to containers and applications. Our objective is to enhance the enterprise infrastructure DevOps, running hundreds of private cloud, Kubernetes, and application clusters for customers across both physical and public cloud estates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cloud operations engineers, bringing Python software-engineering skills and rigour to the operations domain.
- Architect and manage OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage while enabling DevSecOps for applications running on that infrastructure.
- Ensure a high standard of operations in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment for global brand-name customers.
Requirements:
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience with Linux and familiarity with Linux networking and storage.
- Proven expertise in Python software development.
- Operational experience and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year, for company events lasting up to two weeks.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment or operations.
- Familiarity with public or private cloud management.
