Position

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will engage in next-gen operations at scale using Python infra-as-code, managing hundreds of private cloud, Kubernetes, and application clusters. This role focuses on perfecting enterprise infrastructure DevOps and leveraging automation through a scientific approach driven by metrics and code.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Remote)
Work Conditions:

  • Remote Full-time role
  • Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events, lasting up to two weeks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with cloud operations using Python software engineering skills.
  • Practice DevSecOps from bare metal to applications.
  • Architect and manage OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage.
  • Enable DevSecOps for applications on this infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience with Linux and familiarity with Linux networking and storage.
  • Expertise in Python software development.
  • Operational experience in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment or operations.
  • Familiarity with public or private cloud management.
