Position

Canonical is seeking an experienced Python developer with a background in MongoDB to help build a fully managed MongoDB solution based on Juju. We aim to create the world’s best open-source alternative to MongoDB Atlas or Amazon DocumentDB, allowing end-users to own, control, and operate it within their own multi-cloud or on-premise environments.

As part of a small MongoDB team, your contributions will have a significant impact on both the product and the broader ecosystem. You will be tasked with enabling high-performing, secure MongoDB deployments across various platforms and environments including machines, VMs, public cloud, and Kubernetes.

Who You Are:

You are a passionate senior Python programmer eager to work on challenging projects within mission-critical environments.
You have experience in operating and managing MongoDB clusters.
You are familiar with modern infrastructure deployment automations or traditional Linux system administration, operations, and package management.
You are committed to quality and automatic testing.
