About The Role
The Super app team lies in the heart of our Core Engineering Platform organization. We ensure that our different business verticals get integrated seamlessly and with the highest quality. This is a highly technical team, tackling complex problems and coaching the organization to upskill and adopt best practices to ensure stability and a brilliant experience for our customers.
You will lead a group of skilled engineers. Your leadership will not only drive technological innovation but also foster a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Lead platformization to streamline service delivery, consistency and achieve significant business impact.
- Coach the organization and establish well-crafted governance structures to achieve quality and ensure stability of the SuperApp.
- Lead and mentor a team of top-tier engineers, nurturing an environment of technical excellence and innovation.
- Drive the agile development process, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a cohesive product strategy, enhancing customer experience and business outcomes.
- Align engineering initiatives with strategic business objectives, measuring success through tangible outcomes.
- Actively scale the engineering team by strategically hiring strong cross-functional talent
What you'll need
- Good understanding of modern tech stack. With emphasis in Mobile (Native Android, IOS) and technical knowledge of backend services and data platforms.
- Strong technical knowledge and System Design skills.
- A strong educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in leading engineering teams within dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects that drive business impact, with a solid understanding of agility.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to manage, inspire, and develop highly skilled senior engineers.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on operational excellence and the delivery of high-quality, impactful solutions.
