As a Lead Solution Architect within the Group Technology function, you will drive the design and evolution of omnichannel retail and supply chain solutions. This role requires collaboration with Retail and Supply Chain teams to lead digital transformation initiatives focused on solution and technical architecture, end-to-end design, product evaluation, and technology impact assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high-level technical architecture and design for projects, working with development teams and external partners.
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of architectural and design conflicts.
- Ensure adherence to Group Architecture principles.
- Evaluate third-party solutions and advise on integration into the architecture landscape.
- Collaborate with external development partners on technical design and solution delivery.
- Translate business requirements into technology solutions with business and technology experts.
- Ensure solution designs align with the long-term IT strategic roadmap.
- Partner with other Solution Architects for scalable architectural solutions.
- Present and evaluate project architecture at technology governance forums.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and contribute to the development of the Business Technology Strategy.
Qualifications:
- 8 to 12 years of experience in Omnichannel Retail & Supply Chain IT solutions.
- Expertise in Retail ERP systems (Oracle, SAP Retail), WMS, Finance, POS, eCommerce, Order Fulfillment, and Supply Chain Execution.
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS, APIs, microservices, integration technologies, and cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Experience managing complex, multi-platform solutions and global IT projects.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive digital transformation and align solutions with business goals.
