Position

Chalhoub Group is seeking an inspiring and strategic Senior Manager - Omnichannel Application Strategy & Support to lead support operations for critical business applications, including Oracle, SAP, Salesforce Commerce, CRM, MuleSoft, and other enterprise platforms. This role is focused on driving transformation, elevating system performance, and using data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who understands the intersection of technology, strategy, and business outcomes. They will lead initiatives in observability using tools like Datadog, ensuring proactive issue resolution and performance optimization. This role demands deep technical expertise, strategic leadership, and the ability to influence change across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Partner with the Architecture Team to identify opportunities for system improvements and share lessons learned for continuous improvement.
    • Ensure IT delivers tangible business value and act as an agent for change.
    • Plan for high-impact sales periods to ensure system performance and readiness.
  • Observability & Performance Excellence:

    • Establish a culture of proactive monitoring and real-time insights using observability tools.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve performance issues.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

    • Own and manage vendor relationships and drive accountability with partners and teams.
  • Technical Leadership:

    • Provide guidance on application architectures and security best practices.
    • Improve application performance and system reliability.
  • Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making:

    • Use data insights to guide decisions and enhance service quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in application support, including at least 3 years in a strategic leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in observability tools like Datadog, and strong background in platforms like Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, and MuleSoft.
  • Experience in vendor management and a solid understanding of infrastructure and cloud technologies.
  • ITIL certification or equivalent knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or MarTech industries is a plus.
