About the Job
We are seeking a .NET Developer with experience in Microsoft technologies, specifically ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#.NET, VB.NET, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be eager to work with vendor-based applications, handling vendor coordination and support. This position requires a willingness to manage multiple projects and to develop new applications while also supporting and troubleshooting existing ones.
The responsibility includes developing, debugging, and deploying applications, as well as analyzing security vulnerabilities and adhering to PCI standards within operating systems and application code. A successful candidate should have experience establishing secure data transfers between systems via 2-way/mutual SSL connections and HTTPS.
Additionally, the developer should have a good understanding of integration with various systems while maintaining security standards, and demonstrate fair knowledge of cloud concepts, particularly AWS and Azure. Familiarity with microservices and containerization, as well as tools like Jira, is also expected.
Candidates should possess a fair understanding of the various stages of the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, configuration, testing, and rollout. Knowledge of DevOps practices, along with experience using version control systems such as BitBucket, GitHub, or GitLab, would be advantageous.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Technologies: ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server
- Familiar with SQL Server/Oracle, XML services
- Experience in application development, debugging, and support
- Understanding of security vulnerabilities and PCI standards
- Capacity to establish secure connections and ensure secure data transfer
- Fair understanding of Cloud Concepts: AWS/Azure
- Exposure to microservices and containerization
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira
- Knowledge of testing processes and project lifecycle stages
- Experience in DevOps and version control (BitBucket, GitHub, GitLab) is a plus
