Cognizant is seeking a .NET Developer with experience in Microsoft Technologies, including ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#.NET, VB.NET, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server or Oracle, XML services, and will be willing to work with vendor-based applications, demonstrating vendor coordination and support capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple projects and developing, debugging, troubleshooting, deploying, and supporting applications.
• Analyzing security vulnerabilities and adhering to PCI standards related to Operating Systems and Application Code.
• Establishing secure SSL connections between various systems and ensuring secure data transfer over networks using HTTPS.
• Integrating and interfacing with diverse systems while maintaining security standards.

Additional qualifications include:

• A foundational understanding of Cloud concepts (AWS/Azure) and experience with microservices and containerization.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, and an awareness of testing processes and project lifecycle stages—including requirements analysis, design, build/configuration, testing, and rollout.
• Knowledge in DevOps practices, as well as experience with version control platforms such as BitBucket, GitHub, and GitLab will be considered advantageous.
