Cognizant is seeking a Senior Consultant with expertise in Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) on SAP S/4HANA on premise. This role involves working with clients to implement and customize solutions within the Project System, Portfolio and Project Management, and Commercial Project Management areas.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven experience in EPPM, particularly with designs related to Project Systems (PS), Portfolio and Project Management (PPM), or Commercial Project Management (CPM) using SAP ECC or S/4HANA. Responsibilities include conducting Fit-To-Standard Workshops, integrating SAP project systems with Cost Accounting, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, and Procurement. Familiarity with SAP Portfolio Management PPM and SAP Analysis is essential.
A strong understanding of aviation business processes, specifically utilizing SAP best practices, is required. Candidates should also have experience in SAP Capital Project Management and integrating third-party project management systems like Primavera or MS Project. Exposure to Agile methodologies such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus, along with troubleshooting skills in the EPPM areas, including performance optimization and debugging.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven project implementation experience in EPPM and related areas
- Ability to manage customer SAP implementation projects and service deliveries
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly
- Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Projects, Resource Management, or Enterprise Project Connection (EPC) is optional
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
