We are seeking a quick-thinking, qualified NOC Operator to manage the uptime and availability of Core42 services across HPC and GPUaaS platforms through 24/7 troubleshooting and monitoring. This role provides an opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and troubleshooting skills at one of the UAE’s fastest-growing, high-visibility, high-tech, AI-centric organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Network Operations Manager in monitoring Core42’s networks, systems, storage, and data centers using a variety of tools within a consolidated 24x7 Network Operations Centre.
- Manage and maintain Data Centre networks, servers, and systems across multiple vendors, such as Cisco and Palo Alto.
- Perform network monitoring using systems like Zabbix, Grafana, and Graylog.
- Diagnose, document, and escalate issues, ensuring end-to-end service provisioning.
- Participate in a 24x7 rotating duty shift roster.
- Coordinate with internal teams, field technicians, third-party suppliers, and ISPs.
- Create, update, and route trouble tickets, adhering to established workflows, ITIL, and ISMS best practices.
- Provide critical service outage notifications and escalate issues for timely resolution.
- Monitor HPC and GPUaaS platforms status, support software, network and hardware issues, monitor system alerts, and maintain customer relationships.
- Adhere to compliance policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Optimize existing processes and solutions to ensure turnaround time in troubleshooting and meet customer NPS expectations.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Network Engineer or Network Operations Centre Operator.
- Experience in assurance and/or fulfillment roles within NOC.
- Ability to operate in a 24/7 shift allocation roster.
- Solid understanding of networking principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, along with proficient computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in NOC for a Data Centre or 24x7 monitoring team.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS-XE and Palo Alto equipment.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix and Graylog.
- Familiarity with other network vendors.
