As a Technical Architect at Inception, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the overarching architecture strategy for our AI-driven initiatives. You will work across teams to align business objectives with technology strategies, drive technical-wide architectural decisions, and ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices. Inception is the UAE’s national-scale enabler in AI Research and Development. Partnering with Microsoft's AI SaaS, we provide a domain-specific Agentic AI Orchestrator platform utilizing reasoning agents for precise and cost-effective services. Our focus encompasses AI incubation, IP creation, applied AI R&D, and AI investment products, ensuring superior accuracy and efficiency through models tailored to specific domains and languages. We collaborate with top universities and industry giants to drive significant advancements in AI technology within the region.
Responsibilities:
- Platform Design: Define and support infrastructure teams in setting up scalable, cost-effective Cloud or On-Prem for Data & ML platforms.
- Observability & Optimization: Implement monitoring, logging, and optimization strategies for cloud and data platforms using observability tools.
- CI/CD for Data & ML: Define CI/CD pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and AI model deployment.
- Data & Storage Strategy: Design data flow, ontology, schemas, storage strategies, and component-level design for structured, unstructured, and ML output data.
- Security & Governance: Ensure role-based access control (RBAC), data security, and compliance are enforced in all data engineering and AI workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with data engineers, ML engineers, and DevOps teams to build scalable data and ML platforms.
- Technical Leadership: Conduct feasibility analysis, define component-level design, and provide technical guidance for scalable Data & AI platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in technical architecture and hands-on expertise with Azure/On-prem services.
- Strong knowledge of data flow, ETL pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for cloud and big data pipelines.
- Deep understanding of architectural principles, system design, and technology strategy.
- Passion for automation, scalability, and performance optimization.
Required Tech Stack:
- Programming and Development: Proficiency in Python, PySpark.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Microsoft Purview.
- Data Management: Structured & unstructured data pipelines, Delta Lake, SQL, NoSQL, Azure Data Factory.
- ML & AI Workloads: Model inferencing pipelines, MLOps, Data versioning, integration with AI/ML models.
- Microservices and Integration: Expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and service mesh technologies.
- Security and Compliance: In-depth understanding of technical security standards and compliance requirements.
- DevOps and Automation: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
