As a Senior QA Tester, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. Your responsibilities will include manual testing on both desktop and mobile platforms, utilizing your expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. You will closely collaborate with development and QA teams to identify, document, and resolve defects prior to product release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute detailed manual test cases for desktop and mobile applications to confirm that software adheres to functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team to report, track, and resolve defects efficiently, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
- Work with QA Analysts to design and develop comprehensive test cases that address all software aspects, including potential edge cases.
- Contribute to creating and refining test plans and strategies, ensuring exhaustive testing of all features before release.
- Maintain high quality assurance standards throughout the software development lifecycle, identifying improvement opportunities in the testing process and the product.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in manual testing, specifically for web and mobile applications.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of both QA and software development lifecycles to integrate testing processes seamlessly into overall development.
- Language: Proficiency in English (at least B2 level) for clear documentation of test cases, defects, and reports.
- Tools: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Test Management tools for managing and documenting testing activities.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; proactive problem-solving abilities; effective collaboration as a team player.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium and Appium.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript to assist in collaborating with development teams.
- Experience with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as IntelliJ or Eclipse.
- Interest in continuous learning regarding the latest trends in QA and software development.
Work Conditions: Full-time, flexible working hours, remote days per week, and a 35-hour work week for the full month of August (free Friday afternoons).
