Network Security Specialist

Dautom is seeking a Network Security Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure company networks. This role involves collaboration with network architects and consists of various tasks and responsibilities including:

• Collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks.
• Installing and configuring networking hardware.
• Creating and implementing network security measures.
• Conducting regular network performance tests.
• Designing, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting wide area networks using a variety of network equipment, software, and protocols, such as MPLS, Frame Relay, private leased lines, and various dynamic routing protocols.
• Designing, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting secure networks utilizing Cisco ASA firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.
• Providing superior customer service to internal and external clients and managing escalation responses.
• Working with third-party partners to provision site-to-site IPSEC VPNs.
• Configuring and utilizing a variety of network management tools and implementing new technologies for streamlined security and performance.
• Monitoring the network ticket queue in accordance with Service Level Agreement requirements.
• Directly working with local exchange carriers and interexchange carriers to provision and troubleshoot WAN connectivity.
• Partnering with Operations to document designs, standards, and provide training on new technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Previous work experience as a networking engineer.
• Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, JUNOS, and IOS.
• Familiarity with networking hardware, communication, and routing protocols.
• Proficiency with network analysis tools, such as SolarWind.
• Coding skills in languages such as Python and Perl.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
• High-level problem-solving abilities.

Licenses/Certifications:

• CCNP, CCIE, CCNA, F5, ITIL, CCDP, CCISP, SP, JNCIP, AWS are preferred.
