Position

As a Senior in IT Audit at Deloitte, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and further develop your capabilities across various areas of audit and assurance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to engagement planning by understanding business processes and working with financial audit teams to identify the scope for IT Audit procedures such as testing automated controls and conducting data analysis.
  • Preparing and communicating the IT Audit Plan, budget, and timelines to the IT Audit Manager.
  • Performing fieldwork and executing audit procedures including IT risk assessments, testing of automated/application controls, general IT controls, interface controls, and system-generated report testing.
  • Communicating engagement issues and findings to senior management and client personnel to ensure quality in client service delivery.
  • Contributing to building strong client relationships through effective interactions.
  • Managing multiple concurrent engagements across various industries while maintaining high-quality service standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Computer, or Management Information Systems.
  • CISA or other relevant certification is a plus.
  • 6 or more years of related experience in professional services, IT external audit, or IT internal audit, particularly in the Financial Services or Telecommunication industry.
  • Strong background in auditing techniques and computer control environments.
  • Ability to plan and manage fieldwork and ensure deliverables meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Experience in testing general IT controls of applications, operating systems, and databases.
  • Proficient in testing and understanding business processes, particularly in Financial Services or Telecommunications.
  • Articulate and well-spoken with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to work extra hours as needed to meet client deadlines and firm needs.
  • Strong proficiency in PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with a general understanding of data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to conduct extensive research and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in English; additional languages may be a plus.
