About The Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will revolve around designing, implementing, and managing the pipeline automation process for both back-end and front-end applications. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing infrastructure automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and alerting systems, ensuring security and compliance standards.
Weekly tasks will include:
- Utilize Ansible for configuration management to automate and manage system configurations.
- Utilize UNIX-based operating systems for software development and deployment.
- Implement and manage cloud-based solutions using various Cloud Services.
- Use Python scripting for automation tasks, data manipulation, and system administration.
- Use Docker for the creation, deployment, and running of applications.
- Implement and manage container orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
- Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams to ensure marked improvement in applications and timely project completion.
You will collaborate closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery, fostering effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Ansible, UNIX, Cloud Services, Python, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Solid experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in software development and system administration.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using YAML, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services, including Azure Resource Manager, Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and Azure Storage.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code concepts and hands-on experience with tools like Terraform.
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor or similar monitoring and alerting tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex pipeline issues.
- Solid understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in pipeline automation.
- Azure certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.
