They are looking for a Data Analyst (PowerBI Specialist) to evangelize data and methodologies to other functional analysts and stakeholders.
Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain advanced Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
- Devise and execute a strategic vision for Power BI aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Power BI solutions.
- Utilize Power BI web app to create, publish, and share reports with stakeholders.
- Design and build semantic models using Power BI Web and Desktop.
- Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of data presented in dashboards and reports.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies specific to Power BI solutions.
- Provide Power BI administration support.
- Implement role-based access controls and security policies.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain the Power BI infrastructure.
- Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and functionalities.
- Train end-users on utilizing the dashboards and reports effectively.
- Mentor junior team members on Power BI development best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field. Masters is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Power BI development.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Desktop.
- Extensive experience with Power BI web app.
- Proficient in SQL. Skills in Python, R, or similar tools are a plus.
- Relevant certifications in Power BI or related technologies are a plus.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Written and verbal proficiency in English.
