  • About the role:
    • Head of Marketing position based in our Dubai office.
    • Responsible for planning, leading, and executing the brand building, product, and communication strategy for all Dyson product categories in MEA.
    • Develop marketing plans to drive incremental sales growth, share gains, and positive brand attributes for MEA.
    • Contribute to the formulation and execution of MEA marketing plans to differentiate Dyson, build brand equity, and drive consumer purchase.
    • Conduct competitor and market analysis to develop counter strategies and initiatives.
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute go-to-market strategies, ongoing support and plans including new product launches, advertising creative, media planning, channel strategies, public relations, point of sale, promotions, etc.
    • Assist with the development of effective brand communications including TV, Digital, Advocacy, Print, etc.
    • Manage key external agencies – Creative Agency, Media Agency, etc.
    • Work with media agency to plan best in class media execution, explore innovative new media channels to ensure cut through.
    • Work effectively with the Global team to ensure alignment and consistency across markets.
    • Undertake range-planning work to maximize long-term profitability.
    • Devise product differentiation strategy across various markets and channels.
    • Drive competitor analysis to ensure appropriate business response.
    • Work with distributors to ensure all on-product and in-box communication is fine-tuned to drive sales and communicate brand and machine benefits.
    • Take a key role in the management team for MEA.
    • Partner with the Managing Director and other functional leads.
    • Represent MEA and collaborate with Group and other regional colleagues.
    • Manage Marketing team (10+FTE).
    • Fulfill other duties as required.
  • About You:
    • Experience and Education:
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field required.
      • 10-12 years brand marketing experience required; some of which must be with a strong consumer brand and multiple categories.
      • Strong knowledge of media and digital environment.
      • People management min 5yr.
      • Previous working experience for beauty/luxury brands.
    • Skills and Competencies:
      • Curious and passionate about consumers and building premium brands.
      • Broad thinker with strong analytical skills.
      • Detailed into cost tracking and efficiency while managing large budget with clear KPI’s.
      • Problem Solving.
      • Passionate about Dyson, technology, and engineering.
      • Entrepreneurial spirit.
      • Strong communication skills.
      • Creativity.
      • Driven by the desire to win and for continuous improvement.
      • Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
      • Fluency in English with knowledge of Arabic or other local languages is an advantage.
