The Technical Security Manager (Engineer) will oversee all technical security architecture, operations, system designs, installation, and maintenance, ensuring robust security infrastructure and operational continuity. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Planning and Policy Development: Develop and implement strategic technical security plans, designs, policies, and procedures to align with organizational security objectives and effectively mitigate risks.
Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with technical security standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
Team Management: Manage and mentor technical security team members, fostering a high-performing and cohesive team environment.
Technical Assessments and Troubleshooting: Lead assessments and troubleshoot security system issues, leveraging expertise to resolve complex technical challenges promptly.
Collaboration: Work with other departments and external vendors on security projects, ensuring coordinated efforts and optimal resource utilization.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage the departmental budget for technical security operations, ensuring effective resource allocation.
Equipment Lifecycle Planning: Monitor and plan the life cycle of technical security equipment, including maintenance, software subscriptions, and upgrades.
Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive technical reports to senior management, providing insights into performance, incidents, and strategic recommendations.
Incident Response: Lead the technical response to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective mitigation strategies.
Technology Integration: Stay updated with advancements in security technologies, evaluating their applicability and integrating them into the organization's security framework.
Project Management: Manage technical security projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, budget constraints, and timelines.
