IT Strategy and Planning Manager

In this role, you will play an integral part in leading strategic and business planning processes within the IT department. As the IT Strategy and Planning Manager, you will organise cross-functional strategic initiatives and ensure alignment between IT objectives and business goals. Your leadership will foster collaboration, accountability, and capability development across functions, while monitoring performance frameworks and implementing governance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IT strategic planning and improvement processes by identifying priority initiatives and aligning actionable roadmaps.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and capacity planning teams to forecast workforce needs.
• Develop and implement governance frameworks and policies for continuous improvement.
• Conduct strategic analysis and monitor industry trends to inform planning and ensure responsiveness to change.
• Monitor performance frameworks and dashboards and promote leadership alignment through effective communication strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualifications: Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related field is required. Relevant certifications in strategic planning and IT governance are preferred.
• Experience: 8+ years in Information Technology, specifically in business planning and IT strategic planning. Proven track record in managing strategic projects in diverse environments is essential.

• High level of proficiency in strategic planning, governance, performance management, and data-driven business analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking skills, and business acumen.
• Proven ability to present ideas, influence decisions, and lead effectively in fast-paced environments.
